So, Hi there! Yes, I know it’s been awhile. I got distracted and started doing other things. But it’s okay now, we’re here for you now. And we bring new shiny things to show you! So awhile back I subscribed to the I<3SL group. And while yes, almost everything posted is for the ladies on the rare occasion something unisex or for men comes across and we jump on it. So without further delay.
Seriously, I sat here for 20 minutes and my brain came up with “Hey Clothes” for a blog post title. So anyway, I decided to start looking at the stores owned by my plurk friends and I stumbled into *Fir*. Which is owned by Rob1977 Moonites. And then I bought stuff. Below is what happened.
So I was out and about this morning perusing the feeds and the stores seeing what there was too see. Somehow I stumbled in to a store called VITAMEN. So, here is the result of when I walked out of the store.

So, during my shopping the other day I picked up several things. I’m going to show them to you now and then probably ramble about stuff as I suck down anti-flu medication and painkillers like they were going out of style.
It has finally happened. Second Life is finally catching up to my RL fashion obsession. Hawaiian Shirts. I love them, I will wear them all the time. I have a closet dedicated especially for them. I will wearing them in the summer time, I will wear them when it’s 10 below. It does not matter. So hooray for Artilleri releasing a shirt called “Nicke in Hawaii”!
This is the one in black. They have other colors. I got teal and green. When I get more funny money we’re going to get the others.
They also released pants called “Bret”. I knew a Bret in RL once. Dude was a total douche nozzle but the pants, they’re pretty damn cool. They come in different colors too. I got black because black matches with everything and it appeals to my dark and gothic soul….or something.
Artilleri also made the glasses. They’re called “Buddy glasses”. In the military they’re referred to as BCG’s “Birth Control Glasses” because you’ll never get laid wearing them. Or at least they used to be. Who knew they’d be hip again?
I actually really like Artilleri. I wish they had more guy stuff, but then that is pretty much everywhere no?

So April 14th is Pink Shirt day. Basically it’s a day where people can wear pink and a good lot of them can jump on the bandwagon and say “Hey, Stop Bullying”. You can usually tell when Pink Shirt day is coming because people start getting sensitive about everything. I am waiting for wear all black, with sunglasses and be surly day.
I had that term used on me today. I’ve said it to people before admittedly and when I started dancing again I immediately apologized because I realized what a douche thing it was to say.
You hear it from time to time as a dancer. You’ll be having a conversation with somebody and they’ll find out your a dancer and that is when the tone changes. Like somehow what we do is so incredibly dirty we’re second class SL citizens. And for the most part we’re going to be okay with that? Now, why would be okay with that? Allow me to tell you.

I am going to be honest. When I first saw the preview ad for the new Daniel Skin from Laqroki I was hesitant at first. I thought the nipples looked crooked, the skin was too shiny, and there was something wrong with the chin. On the rare occasion, I enjoy being wrong.
So the Daniel skin comes in LAQ’s standard skin tones. Milk, Fair, Peach, Nougat, Cocoa, Ebony. I wish they had something in between Nougat and Cocoa as Nougat is just barely tan enough and Cocoa sits in the little too dark section.
