So I was out and about this morning perusing the feeds and the stores seeing what there was too see. Somehow I stumbled in to a store called VITAMEN. So, here is the result of when I walked out of the store.

I bought stuff, I liked it, I threw it together in an outfit. You know, the usual.
So April 14th is Pink Shirt day. Basically it’s a day where people can wear pink and a good lot of them can jump on the bandwagon and say “Hey, Stop Bullying”. You can usually tell when Pink Shirt day is coming because people start getting sensitive about everything. I am waiting for wear all black, with sunglasses and be surly day.
I am going to be honest. When I first saw the preview ad for the new Daniel Skin from Laqroki I was hesitant at first. I thought the nipples looked crooked, the skin was too shiny, and there was something wrong with the chin. On the rare occasion, I enjoy being wrong.
So the Daniel skin comes in LAQ’s standard skin tones. Milk, Fair, Peach, Nougat, Cocoa, Ebony. I wish they had something in between Nougat and Cocoa as Nougat is just barely tan enough and Cocoa sits in the little too dark section.
I backed my car into a cop car, the other day.
Well he just drove off, sometimes life’s ok.
I ran my mouth off a bit too much, oh what did I say.
Well you just laughed it off, it was all ok.
So during my travels I’ve been checking out tattoo shops during my downtime. Usually it begins with “I’m bored. Let’s get some ink”. Below of some of the ones I have found.

Out of all the seasons we’re finally approaching one of my favorites. Autumn is by far the best season out of the year. People start baking more stuff, the colors begin to change, it’s not longer 90 billion degrees outside. Football season is underway, soon it’ll be Halloween and then El Día de los Muertos. Thankgiving will arrive and I’ll end up sleeping in my favorite chair after having a bit too much Guinness with Football on the television. But lately (and I so blame Iris and the rest of my fashionista friends for this) what I have been looking forward to the most are the clothes.
I like Fall Fashion because it seems like that is when the practical stuff comes out. None of this high fashion conceptual business but clothes actual human beings wear. So, I cruised over to Argrace to see what they had lined up so far. Even though I own most of the store Argrace has always been kind of hit or miss with me. Some people have issues with the no-mod hair however I actually like resize scripts so I’ve found it doesn’t bug me as much. During their early summer collection though they had this weird male button up shirt with an ascot that had me going “WTF?” though.
I actually came up with this look by sitting and drinking my coffee this morning going “I wonder if there is anything to this indie shit Iris keeps talking about?” and I found out apparently it involves patterns and earth tones which I find myself completely down for. Plus apparently they can wear nifty hats and as I love hats in RL (I have over 200) I find myself going over to the dark side of the force as it were.
Shiny Things still has some of the best shoes in Second Life. This is actually hard to do for guys because the guy shoe market looks like an AA meeting when NASCAR is in town.
When I bought the pants over at WMD I was actually skeptical at first. I was thinking “Plaid Jeans…..madness?” Thankfully I was wrong and I am beginning to see how these are easily going to become my favorite pair of jeans in Second Life for awhile. That is until I can find some with the crotch replaced with a disco ball texture (Phillip Linden I am looking at you).
As I was cycling through poses made by the lovely Dove Swanson from [LAP] I found myself wondering when, if ever are we going to get to the point where the avatar mesh will recognize itself and the fact something (like a prim) is there so our hands and hair won’t go through it.
