I think the Second Life “Community” has recently just sunk to new lows. It seems there is this charming site out there called “DoucheList”. I am not going to directly link to the site as it doesn’t deserve the traffic however Cyclic Gearz did a nice article about it here.
It seems the whole purpose of this site is so that people can anonymously vote for people to be placed on this list via a Second Life HUD and be listed as douches. Every day the owners of the free hud being the charming little twatwaffles that they are will be asked to vote for one of 3 Avatars they want to be placed on the list.
Are you fucking kidding me?! Seriously? What the fuck are you people? Twelve? Is somehow you reliving the days when you were caught passing notes in whatever special ed class they dragged you out of? Ronnie James Dio! Will you morons just please get the fuck off my internet?
If you own the hud and participate: Shame on you! Insipid little cock holsters like yourself are mostly the reason why the whole community in Second Life suffers. It’s not so much Linden Lab as the fact that it’s filled with moronic mouth breathers such as yourself. So please for the sake and amusement of everybody else who rates above you on the evolutionary scale (which would be toaster ovens, rocks, particularly nasty bacterial infections, Republicans, most of the State of Utah) just log off and play in traffic.
As for the owner of the site: SimpleTek Saiman, well you already know where I am going with this. Let’s face it man (or woman or mostly androgynous pile of waste sitting in front of the computer…whatever) you’re a piece of shit. You’ve managed to come up with this “new” style of blogging where you get to worm your way out of most of the blame saying it’s other people. Look, nobody is buying that load of horse shit. Nobody buys it when another better known blog does it. You were somehow spurned by well, I am guessing everybody in your life so you’re trying to make up for it by running a site where people can freely engage in cowardice. Seriously it’s about the same maturity level as asking somebody to tell somebody else to do something since “you’re not speaking to them”. Fuck, you can’t even keep your policies/stories straight. According to your “How it Works” tripe it states:

But then you started getting flak for being a cowardly little dipshit and you as predicted tuck your mangy little tail directly between your legs and make this statement at the head of your little site:

Seriously? So tell you what SimpleTek, I want you to enjoy something. I want you to enjoy being pretty much utterly alone on the internet. I want you to enjoy being pretty much universally shunned for being one of the biggest assclowns in Second Life. And if that bothers you….

Along with the votes on the site calling people douches and encouraging bashing of named avatars in the comments, this hud sends you a message for every vote in world in IM as well as an offline message to your email. Some people have hundreds of votes against them. And there is no way to prevent it. THIS is harassment. The comments are in general nasty and who knows if they’re true or not. That makes no difference. SimpleHead Saimon said he has no control over what people say yet there is no way to make a positive vote, it’s complete negativity even causing a good friend to contemplate leaving SL altogether. I made comments on his own Douche page (Yes someone voted for him as a Douche) regarding the details of the hud and site and my comments were removed. When he found out who I was and that I was publicly speaking out against his bullying and malicious waste of time, he quickly put my posts back up (edited of course) and said it was an experiment in censorship apparently so he could hide behind “Freedom of Speech” as an excuse to promote the harassment of people in SL by anonymous posters. The “ad hud” as it’s advertised only had one ad on it…shocker, the ad for his partner’s store Joyful Designs, which of course was removed yesterday. I guess she has decided she doesn’t want her business name associated with his site along with anyone else that has a brain. Though the Douchelist HQ being right next to her store might get an eyebrow waggle. So in all the fails in all the world of massive failures, this is the Mega Douche Fail. Time to rinse cause this one is STANKY.

This guy really pissed me off – he came across as perfectly calm and just a bit naive, but is actually a moneygrubbing oik, who doesn’t actually give a toss. His attitude stinks, and it’s only a matter of time before he and his whole site get shut down >:(

Thank you!! My RL hubby was targeted by Simpletek’s douchebag list, by Simple and Sunny themselves. My hubby is a really nice guy and was quite disturbed by it. It’s nasty, hurtful, and cowardly. Simpletek, you and Sunny both suck.
BTW, Simpletek fits the dictionary definition of a SOCIOPATH:
“a person… whose behavior is antisocial and who lacks a sense of moral responsibility or social conscience.”
